Copyright Complaints
Codira, Inc. hosts apps published by its customers. If something published here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act on it. This page explains how, and names the person to tell.
1.Sending a notice
Send a written notice to our designated agent, below, including all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The material you say is infringing, and where it is — a full web address, so we can find it.
- Your address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
A notice missing these may be ineffective. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
2.What we do
On a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material, and tell the customer who published it, passing on your notice. Repeat infringers lose their accounts.
3.If your app was taken down by mistake
You may send a counter-notice to the same agent, including your signature, the material removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, outside the United States, for the district where we are). We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
